Are you curious about the new iPhone 14? Perhaps you’re wondering what’s new in the iPhone 14 and how it’s different from previous iPhones.

Though its release date is probably a few months away, rumors about the next iPhone lineup are almost everywhere.

This article compiles some of the potentials of the iPhone 14, from prices to inbuilt designs, and materials.

iPhone 14 Possible Release Date

According to some media outlets, the iPhone 14 series will be released on September 13

Pre-orders for the iPhone 14 range will open the Friday following the Apple event on September 16, with the devices likely going on sale a week later, on Friday, September 23.

This is expected to take place following the supposed Apple event.

Three of the four iPhone 14 models are supposedly headed for price increases, according to the allegedly reputable leaker, LeaksApplePro. The new iPhone 14 Max is predicted to be sold at $899, while the basic iPhone 14 remains at $799. However, the iPhone 14 Pro may cost $1,099, an increase of $100 from the $999 iPhone 13 Pro.

According to Jon Prosser and his Front Page Tech video, the iPhone 14 will have flat sides, making it resemble a hybrid between an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 12,

However, those edges might also have a mute button and a row of rounded volume central buttons.

The iPhone 14 is said to have titanium sides, making it stronger and long-lasting than its predecessors. Also, the outer materials (the back) are rumored to be made of glass but in a satin-like texture.

The rumors around the iPhone 14 cameras surface more frequently, and they’re starting to sound fairly intriguing.

According to one Apple patent, the company is developing a periscope-style zoom camera. It might appear on the iPhone 14 or, at the very least, the Pro models.

At the same time, Ming-Chi Kuo (a well-known Apple analyst) claims that the periscope camera won’t debut until the iPhone 15 in 2023.

All iPhone 14 will receive an updated front-facing camera, which will have a bigger aperture (f/1.9 vs. f/2.2 on the current iPhone), 6-part lenses, and built-in autofocus.

Together, these should make it easier to keep focus and reduce image distortion while taking brighter pictures and videos.

We expect changes in the iPhone 14 lineup; according to reports, the normal iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have 6.1-inch displays, while the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max could have 6.7-inch displays. The iPhone 14 Pro, according to rumors, will finally include an always-on display that will show “weather, calendars, activities, and other data” on the lock screen while maintaining a low refresh rate to conserve battery life.

Random Access Memory

According to Kuo, all four iPhone 14 models will have 6GB RAM, an increase from the 4GB found in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. On the other hand, the Pro versions will have quicker and more efficient LPDDR5 RAM, while the base models reportedly employ LPDDR4X RAM like the current iPhone 13 range.
