What is Venmo and how purchase on Amazon with it?
The two big companies, PayPal and Amazon, started their collaboration last year. A well-known mobile payment tool called Venmo enables you to make online and offline purchases, send money to friends, and accept funds from them. You may now use Venmo to pay for your Amazon orders in addition to your standard credit or debit card, and you can make it your usual payment option with the online store. You can use your Venmo balance or the connected bank account to pay for your Amazon purchases, and there are no extra fees charged when using Venmo at the checkout. According to the Amazon and Venmo Protection Programs, transactions are safe.
We’ll describe how to pay for your Amazon orders on a mobile device using Venmo.
How to add Venmo as an Amazon payment method
You must first download the Venmo app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and sign up for a Venmo account in case you don’t have one.
When you’ve signed up for a Venmo account, follow these instructions to add it to Amazon at checkout:
- Click on Select a payment method.
- Click on Add a Venmo account.
- The Venmo app will launch, and when requested, you’ll need to give Amazon access to use Venmo for your order.
- On the Amazon confirmation page, you can choose Venmo as the default payment option for future orders.
You may modify your Amazon payment choices in the Venmo app by going to Settings and selecting Connected Businesses. The back-end technology that Amazon designed and its A-to-z Guarantee both protect your transactions. Moreover, selected purchases are covered by Venmo Purchase Protection.
Venmo is a mobile payment service that allows you to send and receive payments from friends and family. It was founded by Twitter co-founder Evan Spiegel and Square CEO Jack Dorsey. During this holiday season, you can pay your Amazon bills using Venmo. This means you don’t even need to go through the hassle of entering your credit card information every time you want to pay your bills. Customers can use their Venmo balance, a linked bank account, or an accepted debit card to make a Venmo payment on Amazon.
